The empty tomb

One of the biggest pieces of evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the empty tomb. The followers of Jesus have emphasized this a lot in their preaching and there is no historical mention of any proof that would contradict their testimony.

Considering the Gospels and Paul’s writings, there are more than one independent source that have testified for the empty tomb. Jewish leaders were so convinced about the empty tomb, that they have invented a story to explain it and they have spread that story as much as possible.

Only a few of the modern scholars are still trying to deny the empty tomb. The vast majority accept it as a true fact.

The empty tomb confesses without words about the greatest event that took place in history, and this is the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ. Those that saw it and then became christians were willing to testify about this truth, even if they had to lose their possessions or die.
