Creation vs Evolution ♦ Geology

Geologic Time

The Earth’s crust is made of rock layers deposited on top of each other. The uppermost layers are rich in fossils, while the ones below do not contain fossils.

Because evolutionary geologists consider that those layers were deposited gradually, by slow processes, they estimate the required formation time to be of millions to billions of years. Radiometric dating of rocks is also used in order to support long ages, despite the low applicability of this method.

Rock layers frequently show flat gaps between layers, which break the sequence and sediments representing millions of years are missing. During this time, erosion should have created highly irregular surfaces, but instead flat and parallel layers below and above the gap, can be seen. At these gaps, entire layers are missing. These findings contradict the evolutionist view, and suggest a rapid formation.

Folded rock layers represent another argument against long ages of rock formation. The folding structure requires a short formation time, while the composition elements are still not hardened.

The stratification of rock layers we see all over the Earth’s crust, has something to say about the order in which those sediments were deposited. In regards to the formation time, the features we find in the rock layers suggest a short time, rather than millions to billions of years.

Research Topics:

It is the most common explanation for the origin of our Universe. But is it “science” or “science fiction”?

Fossils are like “photos” of a lost world. They can “speak” without words, but with strong evidence. Is it really for Evolution?

Our origins define not only our past, but also our present and our future. What do we have in common with apes? Do we have a common ancestor, or a common creator?

Biology and Chemistry have provided a lot of incredible findings in the past decades. Instead of supporting evolution, they prove an intelligent designer.

Since it was discovered in 1869, DNA has fascinated the scientific world and proves to be the best information storage system. There is no naturalistic mechanism to explain its existence.

Rock layers cover vast regions and form the Earth’s crust. While secular scientists are very confident that they were deposited during long geologic ages, a lot of evidence has been brought to support the contrary.

Math is defined as the science and study of quality, structure and space. It is one of the most powerful tools used in different domains, and it is proof of an intelligent designer!
