DNA Similarities

DNA similarities are often regarded by secular scientists as proof of a common ancestor. But in fact what they actually prove is a common designer.

When comparing human DNA with chimpanzee DNA, scientists thought initially that they are 98% identical. And this was considered as proof that we are “close relatives”. Then, more recents reports show smaller percentages. The problem is that not all the DNA was considered when estimating the similarities. Repeated sequences were ignored, as well as sections that do not align naturally. Also, differences that are not single base-pair substitutions, were not considered differences.

However, percentages do not always give the overall understanding, because the differences could be significant, and could overcome the advantages brought by similarities. The differences are found not only in the DNA structure, but also in the quantity of proteins that are produced. Each small difference at this level, can cause huge differences in the organisms.
